Hello Hummingbird!

Wednesday evening, we repeatedly heard a fluttering sound -- eventually I investigated... A young hummingbird was "trapped" on our porch (which is open on 1 side). I saw the bird's mother on the other side of the window. Poor baby couldn't fly through the window to get to Momma. I held my hands out and let the bird settle onto me. It perched on my hand, and I carried over to the open side of the porch; after a couple of minutes, it flew off.
